Hi there, I'm Tika, the creative force behind Flowers with Tika, a floral design haven nestled in the heart of Newcastle, NSW. I'm thrilled to share my journey with you and my passion for creating unique flower arrangements that bring colour and joy to every occasion.
My story begins in the idyllic landscapes of West Papua, where I was born and raised. In 2013, life took me on a beautiful adventure as I married the love of my life, Dave. Together, we embarked on a journey that would span continents and cultures. One destination that left an indelible mark on my heart was a remote town in Zambia, where we lived for 3 and a half years. This picturesque corner of the world was where my love for flowers truly blossomed.
The enchanting colours and exotic blooms of Zambia awakened something magical within me, igniting my passion for floral design. The vibrant tapestry of this foreign land inspired me to take the leap and create my very own floral arrangements.

My path to floral artistry has been paved with rich experiences. I've also drawn inspiration from my time as a cake decorator since 2015. The world of cakes introduced me to the wonderful realm of colour and design, fueling my creativity.
But my formal floral education truly brought my passion to full bloom. I proudly completed my flower school training, equipping me with the skills and expertise to bring your unique floral dreams to life.
